Recurring "all day" event end date entered is not respected when saving

I don't know if this is Thunderbird's calendar behaviour or a bug. I am running TB 102.13.1 on Debian Buster/10 under GNOME. My Google calendar via the web interface does not exhibit the behaviour below.

When I create a repeating/multi-day "All day Event" and specify a date under "Repeat until", the end date specified does not have an event entry after saving the event. An event is shown for all days from the event start to the day _before_ the desired end date. I have tested that a similar time-specific repeating event does not exhibit this behaviour and the end date has an event for the desired end date.

I have tested this against my Google calDAV calendar and the default "Home" calendar and the behaviour is consistent for both.

Hi there! It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with Thunderbird's calendar feature. The behavior you've described might be a bug, and it's good that you've tested it against different calendars. To potentially fix this, you can try updating Thunderbird to the latest version, as software updates often include bug fixes. If the issue persists, you might want to consider reporting it to Thunderbird's official bug tracker or support forum, where the Thunderbird community and developers can assist you further.

Windows 10 Thunderbird 115.3.3 Same issue When I create a repeating all day calendar event and select an end date, there is no event on the end date. My only current solution is to make the repeating end date one day later than it should be. Example: monday has an all day event that repeats daily ending on friday. Result: there are all day events on Monday thru Thursday.

I have to make the repeat events end on Saturday to get a Friday event.

just realized that if I go to edit that event, the end date has reverted back to the day before. It is not saving the date I enter. It is the date I enter minus 1.
