I'd like to recover my T address book. It is located on a backup disk. Is there a file I can search for and simply copy over to my new location?

Personal Address Book is abook.sqlite (.mab in older versions) and Collected Addresses is history.sqlite (or .mab), both in the profile folder. You might also see other .mab files or abook-1.sqlite, abook-2.sqlite etc.

Tools/Import, Import from file, address books....
