I have multiple gmail accounts and I don't always have them open on every tab. For some reason, every few days at random, whenever I swap to a different gmail account I keep receiving the message.

"The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to mail.google.com.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I double checked if my cookies are blocked, and they werent. I am currently on standard tracking protection. I have tried removing my cookies and history and they work temporarily, but then the issue happens again after a few days.

I don't think my extensions are causing the problem either unless Adnauseum is changing something? I don't have any scripts running from Tampermonkey either.

Please help, this is getting irritating having to delete my history and cookies over and over again.

Here's the improved and translated message:

Hi there,

Have you checked your cookie settings in Firefox yet? If not, give these steps a try:

  1. Open Firefox and click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
  2. Select "Settings" (or "Preferences" on some systems) from the dropdown menu.
  3. In the left panel, click on "Privacy & Security".
  4. Scroll down to the "Cookies and Site Data" section.
  5. Make sure the selected option is either "Allow all cookies" or "Block third-party cookies and trackers".
  • If you've selected "Block all cookies", Gmail won't work properly.
  • If you've selected "Block third-party cookies and trackers", make sure mail.google.com isn't included in the list of exceptions (sites for which cookies are blocked).

Let me know if this helps or if you have any other questions!

How do you switch to a different email address? Do you use bookmarks?

Note that you can login to more than one Gmail address at the same time, each will will get a unique URL with the number of the order in which you login.

I use the drop down menu on the top right side, the one that appears when you press your personal icon. I don't use bookmarks, and I do infact have multiple Gmails open at the same time. I have my firefox saved so that it saves my tabs even after it closes, but every now and then, when I come to reopen it, it has the same issue as mentioned above.

I have double-checked, and I still do not have any third-party cookies blocked. To my knowledge, All cookies are allowed, and I have made no exceptions to that rule.
