When I click on a file to open it, it automatically trys to save the file. I want to be able to choose whether or not to open the file or save it. How can I do this?

When I try to open a link firefox automatically trys to make me save the file. I only want to view the file once in many cases and would like to have to option of choosing whether to save the file, or view it when I open the link. How can I do this?

There are certain file types that are prevented from being opened from withing Firefox for security reasons. Do you have a link to the file, so we can test?

It isnt a certain file type, it is all files Including word docs, excel spreadsheets, pdf's ect.. I remember Firefox asking me if I wanted to make this my default action when I clicked on a link, and I choose to make it such. I would like to change it back so I can choose whether I open/view the file or save it to my drive.
