Starting with Firefox 3, the system requirements changed to at least OS X 10.4 I am guessing that you are using Hotmail, Microsoft updated Hotmail and it now require at least Firefox 3. Unfortunately that means you will not be able to use Firefox to access Hotmail. I do not know of any browser that you can use to access Hotmail from your OS. You could try using an email program and set it up to access Hotmail using POP3.
