You can do this via the bookmarks library. The basic process is described in the [[Backing up and restoring bookmarks]] article. On XP use the manual backup method to backup the bookmarks to a file. Copy this file to the laptop, then when restoring choose the "Choose file" option and use that to import them from your backup.
