Whenever I go to http:/ca.my.msn.com (my homepage), Firefox pops up a security warning saying:

"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?"

, and it won't load the page until I click the ignore button. It does this on several other msn.com pages. I've looked in the Firefox Internet Options, but I can't find the option to turn off this kind of security warning. The warning is not warranted, and it's very annoying; especially when I'm opening multiple news stories to read at my leisure. How can I turn this warning off?

The Firefox devs consider that issue so important that you can't suppress it.

"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party"

That is the "PostToInsecureFromSecureMessage" warning and can't be suppressed.
You will get that warning if you go from a secure https connection to an insecure http connection and POST data entered in a form on a secure site is send to an http server.

This situation is not an at-risk issue, and constantly being flashed that warning is more than annoying. The http server in question is secure.
