I need to block a bad website
when I open a new tab it goes to a bad site (according to mcafee) how do I block this site and/or change what site comes up when you open a new tab??

By default Firefox opens a blank page in a new Tab, something you installed changed that action. You need to figure out what changed that.
Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."
