This problem has been going on for at least 6 months. Immediately after (and continuing) an Update I start getting booted off (logged out) of a forum I frequent. I'm logged out when I try to navigate from one thread to another.....especially so when it involves lengthy threads. Short threads seem to not be a problem

A system restore will fix the problem but I can't keep doing SRs twice a week. I am using a dial up internet service (NetZero_

Some servers inspect the user agent to see if it still matches the one that was used to create a remember cookie to log you in automatically. If Firefox updates then the user agent changes and that is enough to invalidate that cookie and make the server forget you.

Thank you.....but now what?

I delete ALL cookies on regular basis. Shouldn't that fix it?

What setting changes when I do a System Restore? I must do a Restore after each update to be able to navigate my website.

Thanks!
