How do I get rid of the plus sign below the house on the top right of the screen that says "Start adding apps to your brower. ..." when you place your mouse over it?

I want the top inactive part of the screen to use as little of the available height as possible. Why can't the + sign be moved up beside the house or deleted all together? The blank tan strip is wasting 1/15 of the vertical real estate.

I figured out how to fix the issue. This is an extra toolbar that has been added. You can remove it by right clicking on the navigation bar (back, forward, home, etc) and deselecting "Conduit Engine".
