Disable automatic virus scanner on downloads in Firefox 4? - How to?

Hi.

I would like to know if there is a way possible to disable the automatic virus scan for downloads in Firefox 4.0. The scan at the end of the download lags me and is a huge annoyance. All almost files I download I know are safe, and if I am unsure then I will manually scan then or my antivirus will get it... Typing about.config into the search bar does not do anything. :(

more options
  1. Type about:config into the location bar and press enter
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
  3. Locate the preference browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone, double-click on it and change its value to false

This will stop Firefox requesting a scan, though your antivirus may still automatically scan the file.
