How do I change/update a saved password in the security tab when I use the Master password?
I have a long list of saved passwords in the passwords section of the security tab in Tools>options. I changed my password for my browser but the master password still provides the old one. How do I update the password in Tools>options>security>passwords?

You can start Firefox in Safe Mode and check if one of your extensions is causing this problem:

Did you see "Change Master Password" in Tools > Options > Security?
That's where you change your Master Password. You probably have to restart Firefox after you did that.
It's not the Master password I want to change, it's one of the already saved passwords
If you are talking about individual password. When you log-in a website, enter the correct (or new) Password and Firefox should ask you if you want to change the password or not.
It isn't asking me to change the password
Although I have checked both "remember passwords for sites" and "Use a master password" boxes I am not being prompted to add or change any passwords even for a new site
