can I access the awesome bar with the keyboard rather than the mouse?

I want to go to the awesome bar without using the mouse. Is there a keyboard combo that allows me to do this? For example, control/o with Explorer takes me to a window where I can type in a website address. I'm hoping for something similar with Firefox.
