I use HP J6480 All-in-One Printer that comes with a program called HP Smart Printer. I was on Mapquest and I have tried several times to print a map, using their printer tab on the site.

It used to work when I had Firefox browser 3.6. I have Upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1 and now the printer tabs do not respond. Is there another program I can use that is compatible with Firefox Browser 4.0.1 that will allow me to print like HP Smart Printer program does?

HP Smart Web Printing hasn't been updated for newer versions of Firefox, but that shouldn't stop you printer from working in any version of Firefox. All that's gone is the floating toolbar that the SWP application provides, everything else should still work fine.

I thought this to be true, until I was on the Mapquest website and tried to use the print button. I used Mapquest with firefox 3.6 and had no problem with the buttons or any printing problems at all.

Then I upgraded to the new Firefox 4.0.1 and now I can not print maps from Mapquest. Is there another program that I can use to take the place of smart print, until there is an update that is compatible with Firefox 4.0.1?
