I have an android tablet and when i surf to a website (for example www.facebook.com). the website detects that i'm using a "mobile" browser which is fine on my phone but not my tablet. Is there a setting which says "i'm a normal computer browser". So that i get the full site?

Yes the phony extension allows this. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/addon/phony/

Open the preferences window after restarting and then choose desktop Firefox for the user agent option.
