Strange behavior when I open a new window

I was recently "updated" to Firefox 5 (without being told the the "update" was an "update" to the new release).

Now whenever I open a new window, the upper part of the window looks totally different, and the functionality is compromised.

There is a new "button" at the top left that says "Firefox" that has quick access to a subset of features accessible from the menu bar. It seems to be a replacement for the menu bar and bookmarks bar.

My two biggest issues are:

1) The "Bookmarks Toolbar" no longer appears, even though it is checked in the toolbar list. If I un-click then click it, the new Firefox button disappears and the Bookmarks Toolbar appears, along with the menu bar. Otherwise, I have to fish for it by clicking on bookmarks, bookmarks toolbar, and then the link that I'm trying to access, when I used to be able to just click the link on a toolbar at the top of the window. That was the whole purpose of the bookmark toolbar. It like a "most used" toolbar.

2) the back button is always "shaded" and does not work when you left click on it. You have to right click to get the previous pages you were on to go back to them.

If you were using roboform you should uninstall it. you may use lastpass instead
