Unable to switch away from beta update channel
I have FF 5.0 on Vista64. I have been getting v6-beta upgrade offers, and want to prevent that. This article describes how to switch update channels:

However, in the About dialog there IS no Change link or other means of changing channels, so I'm stuck. How do I change away from the beta channel?

Sorry for the inconvenience.
This article is no longer maintained, so its content might be out of date.
It is out of date! That Channel Switcher was removed from 6.0 & 7.0 a few weeks ago, and was never in the 5.0 pre release versions. It didn't work out as originally envisioned by the developers.
Install a release version of 5.0.1 to get off the Beta Channel.
