My back/forward buttons and bookmark this site doesn't work
Cannot bookmark any site. Neither the menu (Bookmark this site) nor clicking the star works. Period. Does not work with IE7 either.
Back and forward buttons are off and stay grey. Neither works.

Sounds like you have a corrupt places.sqlite file or corrupt localstore.rdf. Please see these articles which explain how to resolve the problem:
