It seems like this function seems to be no longer supported in Firefox 6.

Does someone know whether that's intended or just a bug?

I thought of this feature as being very useful.

No, this feature has not been removed in Firefox 6. It should still work on web sites that support it, like YouTube. Can you let us know which web page(s) this is failing on?

If you don't see an option like "Add YouTube" or "Add Yahoo" in the search bar menu when visiting a site, you can also try visiting http://mycroft.mozdev.org/ for a different way to add sites to your search bar.

Thank you for your fast reply!

There's no bug, it was all my fault. Didn't knew that the add-to-searchbar function isn't shown when the affected website is already in the search engines list or is on the default list. Stupid me...

Keep up the good work.
