In Firefox v6 (6.0.2) running under Windows XP:

Since the status bar has been abolished, when I hover over the scroll down arrow in the bottom right of the window, the cursor changes to the window re-size cursor, preventing me from scrolling down. SOMETIMES a white re-size box appears below the scroll arrow solving the problem. The problem will not happen (obviously) if the window is maximised.

You can display the Find bar (Ctrl+F) or the Add-ons bar (Ctrl /) to prevent that.
