Is there any way to set firefox to permanently never remember certain site(s) even though you may visit them? Say for instance I want to visit CNN.com however I never want it to show up in my history.

I realize there is a "forget this site" feature. However this does not permanently forget the site. Is what Im asking doable?

I don't know of any native way to do that - you may find some of what you want with https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/form-history-control/
