Every time I open a new tab, it defaults to the Bing seach page - how do I change that? (It does this for new tabs only, I'm able to set my initial homepage successfully).

I've looked in Tools/Options and IE Tab + Options and can't figure out how to set the page for new tabs... only for the home page.

Thanks so much for your response! When I go into Tools/Add ons/Extensions, the Bing bar isn't on the list of add ons... so I can't disable it. I also tried the IE option through the Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs, and the Bing bar isn't listed there either, so I can't remove it. Any other thoughts?

There's a number of different extensions that add that Bing garbage to Firefox.
Uninstall Search Helper
Default Manager 2.2

Also, in past support threads, Bing has been installed through various non-Microsoft add-ons, including:

StartNow Toolbar (remove using Control Panel)
PDF Lite (remove under Extensions)
Vuze Toolbar (remove under Extensions)
BigSeekPro / Hypercam Toolbar (remove using Control Panel)
