I have just installed Firefox a second time on an OSX computer. The first time I did it I was prompt toimport bookmarks from Safari. The problem was that I had not imported my Windows bookmarks to Safari and therfore had none to import. I uninstalled Firefox to allow myself to import the bookmarks to Safari. Now I have installed Firefox a second time but this time I was not prompt to import the bookmarks from Safari. I have lloked around amongst the dropdown menues and in preferences but can't find where I shall import bookmarks from. What am I missing? Shall I import them hard-coded by copy and paste in Finder or is there a way to do it from Firefox. I shall say that I installed the Swedish version of Firefox since I'm Swedish. Is there any help awailable?

You have to export the bookmarks from Safari as HTML and then in Firefox open the bookmarks Library: Bookmarks (or Alt + B) > Show All Bookmarks (lternatively Ctrl + Shift + B). In the Library window click Import and Backup on the top and then Import Bookmarks from HTML... and browse to select the HTML file exported from Safari.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I actually found out myself while I was playing around with Firefox. I have not used Firefox that much on PC but I think it is worth trying.

Kind regards, Anders Modin
