How can I force google.com in google search bar when I live overseas?
So heres the thing.. I live in Germany. I am American, and when I open firefox and type google.com or in the firefox search engine it redirects to google.de
Of course I can read and speak German.. but its more of a hassle and like the searches to use google.com. How can I force this?
Oo and Ive accidently removed google.com from the search bar... and when I click the list to drop on on google.com I dont see Add google.com
How can I get it back? And how can i force it not to use the local google?

For google.com find and install the plug-in from:
http://mycroft.mozdev.org/google-search-plugins.html
for Re-ordering search engines see : Search bar

So ok I have reinstalled the google.com firefox search engine from: http://mycroft.mozdev.org/google-search-plugins.html
and when I use it, it still reroutes me to google.de if nothing is in the bar. If I search for something it opens the google interface in english with the american search results. But say I hit the search engine blank to open the google webpage it reroutes me to google.de
Or if I type google.com in the address bar, goes to regional, is there a fix to that?
Is there a way around that anyone?
thanks
