clipboard pasting in Excel
When I copy and paste from a website into an Excel spreadsheet, the clipboard data does not paste correctly, and I am unable to access ALL of the Paste Special options when trying Copy & Paste other cells in the same spreadsheet. In fact when I am in a cell and press Ctrl-C to copy, I don't get the broken-line indicator that I have copied a cell to the clip board.

I see you have Skype Click to Call installed. That application has been causing problems with paste special options in Excel, it overrides the MS Office copy/paste functions. If you uninstall Skype Click to Call then the paste special options should work again.

Thank you, that solved my problem. I use Skype, and while reviewing my plugins, I noticed my Anti-Virus AVG has trouble with Firefox too. I have moved back to IE9, sadly, because I don't like the privacy issues with Chrome. Both IE9 and Chrome handle the Skype click to call and Excel pasting properly.
AVG Safe Search incompatible with Firefox 11, Skype Click to Call renders Excel Paste Special unusable.
