I click icon (Google, Yahoo) and get 2 or 3 additonals popups addon and sometimes a redirect to other website.FF goes back to default on all other settingx
It seems that FF goes back to default setting even when I tell it not to remember password, userids and history. I do not want the drop window that asks me if I want it to remember userid and pw. I get additional popup and windows to other websites when I open Google, Yahoo or other search engine. and also I get a redirect to other websites. I

Thanks a million Terabytes!!! You've solved 99% of my problems... I installed SuperAntiSpyware and it found over 500 threats &. removed them I even got the pc to do a chkdsk after defragging. It took aver 2 hours but it was worth the time. my pc is clean for now, thanks again.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
