How do I ensure a Google search from the Firefox search bar brings me to the regular www.google.com search results UI, and not the "Google Custom Search" UI?
When conducting a Google search from the Firefox search bar, the "Google Custom Search" UI comes up (instead of the regular www.google.com search results UI). I do not like the “Google Custom Search” UI; each result is within a box, the content in results seems weird, etc. This has caused me to start going to www.google.com for searches instead of using the Firefox search box set to Google. I find this annoying because it’s another step, and I like making money for Mozilla (from Google) when I conduct web searches. How do I ensure a Google search from the Firefox search bar brings me to the regular www.google.com search results UI, and not the "Google Custom Search" UI?
Please note: I am using the Firefox search bar, and I’ve left Google as the default search engine.

Can you give a screenshot of the results you get from the search bar? When I run a search from the search bar, it looks the same as when I go to google.com.
Sure, here is an example of the "Google Custom Search" UI that comes up. When I initiate the search from www.google.com, the regular Google search results UI comes up.
Try installing https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/ , see if it helps.
