When I begin typing an URL, FF 15.0.1 autotypes one that is neither in my Bookmarks nor in History. It occurs even if I delete all the cookies, history etc.
Even if I delete the cookies, history, forms, cache etc., when I begin typing www, FF autotypes an URL of a webpage that I whatched some days ago but not bookmarked. It is very annoying. Is there any way to fix it without using the 'private browsing'. I want FF clears everything from the history when I delete that.

Hi jeanlucjeanluc,
Firefox gives many options for configuring or clearing History and the way it is saved.
Have you noted there is an option to forget about sites, does that solve the issue for you.

(it is a longish article with a video and can be scrolled)
Presumably you are leaving Firefox open continuously for a number of days, and so building up a history of more than one day since you last cleared it.
As you remarked you could use Private Browsing. There is no reason why you should not start a session and only use private browsing for parts of that session, e.g. if you are doing financial or confidential work. You do not need to be in Private Browsing permenantly, although there is also the option to set Firefox to always clear History when each session ends, regardless of whether or not you were in Private Browsing.

Firefox should clear History when you select that but note you do get options for the period of history being cleared, read through the article I provided a link to.
There is a possibility that your History is not being cleared for some reason, or even the file is being recreated but that is probably unlikely.
Also where are the suggestions coming from ? I am assuming they are from the dropdown or autocomplete on the location bar that has the reload and bookmark star in it by default.
Orare you talking about suggestions coming from a search engine such as Google: e.g. if you use the Search bar that by default is on the top right and is Google with a magnifying glass on the end of it.
