I was not sure so took a rather shotgun type approach and posted a bunch of links hoping one may answer your question. By default History is saved unless you are in Private Browsing, but there are a few options for changing various settings and deleting History Items or lists. Please read the above linked articles then post back with how you get on and whether you need any more help.
