sndvol.exe
I am using windows vista, 32-bit.
When I have my Volume mixer open (sndvol.exe), and if firefox has been used for a while, then when I close firefox, it crashes the volume mixer.
Error is: "Volume Control Applet has stopped working"
Problem occurs even when using Firefox portable.

Check first your plugins - it does not hurt and it may help. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Next, I would look around for sndvol /audio driver updates for your computer.
Already done that, and it didn't help.
