what is the little white box to the right of a persons name in the chat box

When I see the chat box, I see a little green dot to the right of a persons name and that lets me know the person is available to chat. At times I see that little green dot change to a white square and I'll see a time frame next to the box, such as '13m' Please explain what that little white square means. thank you :)

Best to ask the website which has "the chat box". That isn't a feature which is built into Firefox.

An old thread, indeed, but for future reference, you are on Facebook and that "little white box" with "13m" on it means that the friend that is online is on a mobile device now and has been inactive for 13 minutes.
