In Firefox Library History all websites are shown and not organized by days anymore

When I used to go to history and click show all history the websites would be organized in folders that were listed as today, yesterday, last week, last month etc. Now all the websites since the last time I cleared history are all piled in there how to I change it back to have folders again?

I think this changed recently. Perhaps other people were complaining that they didn't want to have to click a date range to start viewing history, they always wanted to see the most recent history immediately??

If you have delete the history from an entire month then it can take some time to get the folder structure appearing again because there first has to be enough history of past days and weeks.

How long ago did you delete history and how much did you remove?

I delete it whenever I think of it. Either once a week or every couple of days. Used to when I opened the library It would have folders for each day since the last time I deleted the history now the folders are only on the left side under the history tab. When I click the today folder under the history tab it collects all the websites into the today folder but when I close it and come back to it immediately its back to having no folders and just a list of all the websites. until I click the today folder on the left side again but then it starts all over again.
