Click and block websites
Lately, too many web sites are copying some kiddie-coders delight and using one shade of grey on another shade of grey background. Even my friend Moz is doing it. Since most such sites are more interested in bling and 'kewl' fonts and colours I would like to see a switch or some option that will block those sites from being seen again.
For example, I Bing xyandz.org and find it full of bling and hard-to-read text, or because they are one of those sites that claim to have the answer, but they just pretended to, so I would like to click something in FF that will block my seeing it again.
This could be something that FF scans Google and Bing search responses and flags the bad sites.
The fad will pass, as all the others have, but it's annoying with too many sites to have to use the cursor to highlight everything so it can be read.
Sometimes I think those sites are in cahoots with optometrists :)
In closing, a add-on, or a nice FF feature, would be great.

Hi Internaut, I'm just a volunteer here, so I take no credit for Firefox or any add-ons.
Are you using the BlockSite extension? That actually was developed and is maintained independently. When I look at their page on the Addons site, I don't see an easier way to add a site to the list: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad.../blocksite/.
The developer has posted 3 more recent versions on the add-on's "Versions" page but they have not yet been formally released. These might have useful improvements, but it could be they are still buggy and that's why the main page still has the old version. Just speculating.

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font size (text/page zoom) and text color on web pages.

What does that mean?
Sometimes viewing the cached pages from your search engine results will be more efficient than viewing the actual page, particularly if you need to review several (you can open them in separate tabs). Bing has a little green triangle to accessed the cached page link, and Google recently copied that.

I was meaning that one can open tools and add a site to the 'blocked' list.
I used your program. Super! I Binged cnet.com and added them with your program. Then, Binged the same thing and cnet was there, but nicely in bold black - no link. Perfect! But, the steps to block a site (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > Block-site > Options > then paste or type the URL > OK/Cancel > Close pane) is a bit of a long process.
I would like to see a drag and drop from URL right in to the blocked list, or short-cut icon on the Menu Bar. It would be great if we could drag and drop to the icon.
As one who wants to protect his anal virginity, I don't use Googoyle nor Sign On to Bing, block everything a site is trying to find out, and if a site wants to know anything about me, they can arrange to make payments. Ergo, I cache as little as possible.
I am still using your program, and will continue to, but I look forward to any improvement when it comes to assigning sites to the blocker.
