my new tab page has disappeared and i cant figure out how to get it back. I've tried different things but it doesn't seem to work, and there is no little grid icon in the upper right hand corner either... Please Help!!!!!!

hello AScarr, please see if installing the searchreset addon can address the issue (despite its name it should also apply in case of a altered new tab page): https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

in case this doesn't work could you go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...

You can also check the browser.newtab.url pref on the about:config page page if the SearchReset extension didn't help.
