I've entered some form data on a page and submitted the form to go to the next webpage. If I click the "Back" button, I still see my Username populated on the form. I have Remember search and form history unchecked in the privacy options. Why is it caching this information? This did not happen with version 24 but now happens with version 25.

hello, this might be part of the session-restore feature (i'm not aware that it has changed in the last version though). in order to disable that please refer to http://kb.mozillazine.org/Session_Restore.

Data that you entered in a form is usually kept in one of the caches and you may have to do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5) to reset the form.
It is usually not a good idea to go back a page if you have submitted a form.
In some cases Firefox might also give the dialog asking to resend form data if a page was requested form the server by sending form data.

Session restore would only apply if you restarted Firefox or possibly closed and reopen this tab, but not when using the Back button (that would be the back/forward cache).
