I cannot open any FireFox-related application.
I can't open Firefox at all. I've run through every troubleshooting guide I can find, with absolutely no luck whatsoever. I've restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox, attempted creating a new profile, checked my security, scanned for malware and viruses, everything. I just can't open it. I tried to open the profile manager, but couldn't get it to work. I tell it to open, my cursor adopts the loading icon for a moment, then nothing. Absolutely nothing. I try uninstalling again, and I get an error telling me FireFox has been opened and cannot be uninstalled while it's running. The program was working just fine a few hours ago, and now it's dead. Help?

Hello,
Can you please confirm that Firefox was working earlier and has been causing you grief only recently. What was the version of Firefox that was loading up fine earlier?
Also, can you please try the below mentioned instructions to check if there is a crash log whenever Firefox is starting up (is this Firefox 26.0 ?)
Please perform the following steps to give us a crash report ID that helps us find out more about the cause of the crash.
- Press the following shortcut to get a Run window: [Windows] + [R]. This should bring up a window that contains a text field.
- In that text field, enter %APPDATA% and press Enter. An explorer window should open.
- From that explorer window, double-click on the Mozilla folder, then double-click on Firefox and then on Crash reports. Double-click on submitted.
- Now, you should see a list of files that contain reports. Go to View > Arrange Icons by > Modified to get the most recent files at the top of the window.
- Open the most recent 5 files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!
You can find more information and troubleshooting steps in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
You may already have tried this but, if not...
Firefox may sometimes hang during the startup or shutdown process. You can use the Windows Task Manager to "kill" Firefox and try starting it up again.
Ctrl+Shift+Esc opens the Task Manager
Click the Processes tab
Look for firefox.exe, select it, then click End Process
