I love Firefox & AOL. How do I set email spam filter words from Firefox?

more options

Have had AOL for over 10 yrs & haven't found one I like better or more convenient. Firefox is a fast browser. I've found them to be compatible yet have not found a way to change mail settings, such as adding or removing "spam filter words" from Firefox. I would like to change from Firefox, instead of starting up AOL. When I do, AOL automatically shows up with next start-up.

Those settings are in AOL mail preferences, not saved in Firefox.

As far as changing the Homepage in Firefox, see this.

Thank you for your quick reply. I had no problem setting AOL as my homepage, it works just fine. My issue is having to start up AOL from my desktop, go to mail settings (spam filter words, etc) & change there. The next 4 or 5 Xs I boot, AOL box shows up & I must click close 5,6 or 7 times before it disappears. I was hoping to get to AOL settings through Firefox.

On your desktop, are you using a shortcut to aol.com or a completely separate program?

Usually just opening a website using a desktop shortcut won't change Firefox's behavior. However, you many need to close the AOL tab before shutting down Firefox. If Firefox automatically re-opens that tab at the next startup, the site certainly may want you to log in again or resume other business...
