  1. Use an up to date version of Firefox. Firefox 28.0 will be released this coming Tuesday.
  2. Use a supported operating system. WinXP support is ending within the next 3 weeks.
  3. Use a good anti-virus application, which is up to date with virus definitions. Some AV programs get updates multiple times daily.
  4. Use a good and current anti-malware application.
