I bought a new HP Pavilion laptop from PC World and paid to have the files tranferred from my old laptop to the new one. When I couldn't find my bookmarks they then told me they could not be transferred. Is this correct or can I still retrieve them? I still have the old laptop. I used Firefox on the old laptop as on the new with the same e-mail address and password.

Every web browser that I have ever seen has had a method for exporting bookmarks in the standard bookmarks.html format.

In Firefox - {Ctrl + Shft + B} to open the Library > Import & Backup -> Export Bookmarks to HTML

or the Backup option
