Cannot upgrade existing thunderbird to new
I tried in safe mode with same results the error message is Z-Zip

I don't think Malwarebytes would cause the problem. Please state the exact error message and exactly what you are doing when it occurs. Start Windows in safe mode with networking and run TB.
