I've recently installed Firefox on my WXP computer, to replace IE. During installation, Firefox automatically put up a dialog offering to import all my bookmarks (i.e. Favourites) from IE, and I accepted. The resulting page confirmed that my bookmarks had been imported. However, on looking at the actual list of bookmarks "Imported from IE", I saw that the main Favourite headings had been imported in alphabetical order - which is fine - but that the import had stopped at the letter S. That meant that some important main Favourite headings (e.g. "Travel") hadn't been imported. I then went to your tutorial pages and followed the instructions for "Importing Personal Data from Other Browsers", asking for just bookmarks to be imported from IE. What happened was that once again, FF imported only the Favourite titles up to initial S. (And now, furthermore, all the imported ones were duplicates of the ones already imported at set-up). Would you tell me, please, what I need to do to get the complete list of Favourites imported from IE? Thanks a lot. Ian Stewart
