Brendan Eich has a right to his thoughts and beliefs as much as anyone in a truly free country.

Hi,

Brendan wasn't fired. He chose to step down as CEO as he felt he wasn't able to do his job properly. Brendan himself said:

"I have decided to resign as CEO effective April 3rd, and leave Mozilla. Our mission is bigger than any one of us, and under the present circumstances, I cannot be an effective leader. I will be taking time before I decide what to do next.”

As for this thread goes, I'll be closing this down as it's off-topic and doesn't belong here. See the Forum Rules and Guidelines. I'm not silencing you but just giving you the information I have and to point you in the right direction.
