What do you mean with narrower?
Is that meant vertically and reduce the toolbar heights, so you have more space for the web pages?
You can do a search for a theme that has a compacter toolbar area.
It`s the toolbar height top to bottom, the purple area. See photo.
Turn off the Titlebar in Customize.
How to do that please?
