Why can't I install window 7 updates since downloading Firefox???

I have never heard of Firefox causing Windows Updates to stop working. Could you provide more details and context into the issue you are having?
Windows uses their own Internet Explorer exclusively for updates. Start Windows Internet Explorer. On the menu bar, select Safety, then Update.
