There are instructions for creating a user.js file, unfortunately they are not helpful to me. I was able to pull up my "Profile Directory" and moved on to accessing my " .default" but have no idea what to do after that. My questions remain: How do I create a user.js folder on a macbook? Where do I pull up java script from? Do I create a "smart folder" inside of my default folder?

Support for CAPS to allow web pages access to the clipboard via user.js via capability.policy prefs has been removed in Firefox 29, so this is no longer possible.

Use keyboard shortcuts if the buttons on the web page or other methods aren't working.

  • Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (Mac: Command + C)
  • Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command + V)
  • Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete (Mac: Command + X)
