Firefox for Android seems to have lost the ability to display pdf files from websites. Instead it downloads 2-3 files named with jumbled characters including the word "part", none of which I can open. There seems to be some interaction with MobiSystems OfficeSuitePro, because when I uninstall that, the problem disappears. OfficeSuite denies being the default for anything. The problem does not occur with the Android Internet browser. Firefox: v31 My phone: Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Android: 4.1.2 Thanks!

Hi Efskeff, I understand that you have experienced an issue in displaying pdf files from websites. Since they download in parts and with jumbled characters are there options to open the dowloaded pdf file in a different program? The program you mentioned uninstalling does list pdf as a compatible file extension: ("Full compatibility with Microsoft formats DOC, DOCX, DOCM, , XLS, XLSX, XLSM, PPT, PPTX, PPS, PPSX, PPTM, PPSM and support of common formats as PDF, RTF, TXT, LOG, CSV, EML, ZIP; Open Office formats - ODT, ODS and ODP.")

Do you have an example url of where a pdf downloaded where the is happening consistently?

Also if it cannot be reproduced when the app was uninstalled, have you also asked the OfficeSuitePros's support?
