I have my Thunderbird linked to a Yahoo email account. When I use Thunderbird to compose and send an email it never shows up in my Yahoo "Sent" folder. It does show up ok in my Thunderbird one. So, in easy instructions, how do I change settings etc so that my T'bird account fully synchronises with my Yahoo one. I have no other problems other than the Sent situation.

I have already gone into the Copies & Folders under Account Settings and ticked the box about keeping automatically sending sent mail into my Yahoo mail account but this has not made any difference.

Also, while writing, is it possible to change colour scheme etc on Thunderbird??

If you have an IMAP mail account:

Tools > Account Settings > Copies & Folders for the mail select: Place a copy in select: 'Other' and 'Sent on mail account' Note: The 'Sent' folder on the server might be called eg: 'Sent Items' or similar

click on OK to save settings.

Make sure you have subscribed to see that folder.

re: is it possible to change colour scheme etc on Thunderbird??

Two methods: You can change the general look of the Thunderbird window and all windows on your computer using your OS options. Control Panel > Personalization > Window colour and appearance.

You can download a theme for Thunderbird:
