Steps to reproduce: Open a new tab Using the search bar (for Google) within the page on the new tab, enter a search query and press enter Quickly switch to a different tab The search results will load on the different tab rather than the tab where the search was started from

hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...
