Firefox will not load
Firefox begins to load for a few seconds then stops. I did attempt to uninstall then reinstall a fresh copy, but the problem persists. I did add Firefox as a program permitted to access the Internet through the Windows firewall, but the problem persists. I did defragment my drive, but the problem persists. Please, what can be done?

Does Firefox start at all or are you just having trouble loading webpages?
Sorry, Firefox does not start at all. It attempts to load for two seconds then stops.
You can check if you can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift/Options key.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.
OK, the default theme did not work, nor did a full restart. I am trying again to look at hardware acceleration. Had one add-on that was already flagged, but it was also blocked, so not there.
Sadly, no, turning off accelerated hardware also did not solve the problem.

Thank you! I'm keeping this for reference. Seems javascript was causing the headache.
