Need to delete messages in Outbox from command prompt because with TB running an error message pops up on one message which then prevents any actions.
One address is causing a crash but I cannot then close Thunderbird except via Task manager and cannot click on any TB funcions. In fact I cannot even switch to any other running programmes. So, I need either a command line way of starting TB in Offline mode or just delete all the messages in the Outbox via Windows Explorer.

Locate your profile, delete the file named Outbox.
I'd expect to find it under .../Mail/Local Folders/
